Bollywood Movie 'Sirf Ek Banda Kafi Hai' Reflects The Case Of Cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane

May 27, Kathmandu- The Bollywood movie 'Sirf Ek Banda Kafi Hai' released on the OTT platform is currently in the news. Not only in Bollywood, but also in Nepal about the content of the film, there have been expressions about it on social media.

Manoj Bajpayee, an Indian actor from the border region of Nepal, is in the 'lead' role of the film. This is not the reason for the discussion in Nepal.

In the case involving the cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane, the same references were made to 'Sirf Ek Banda Kafi Hai', which played on the subject of age. The film has raised the issue of how rape cases can be weakened when minors are shown as adults.

The film highlights how false age statements are presented in court and the fact that there are 'nine horns of the law'. If you want to know how the court is influenced in the case of rape and how far the judge bows before the famous lawyer, you must watch the movie.

The film is based on the jail journey of the famous father of India 'Asaram Bapu'. The fact that religious people who are always taught to be characterless can be characterless is not new. But the film tells the story of tyranny and the fight against the power of the same pomp.

The film shows how a person who stands for justice in the midst of deprivation can fight against the pressure and influence created by all the hype and frenzy. Asaram Bapu and his son, who built a huge empire under the cover of religion, are serving the sentence of minor rape.

This case has established that one or more well-known lawyers can prove weak in front of an honest legal practitioner in a 'high profile case'. That has been made the plot of the film.

The film focuses on the court itself. The film doesn't have the same humor as Jolly LLB, which focuses on the court. Politics in the name of religion, the constant killing of witnesses, the judge's personal inclination towards 'high profile' lawyers are presented in a simple manner in the film.

However, when the context of justice and judgment is raised, the influence of such inclinations has been shown to be weak. The dignity of the court has been wonderfully established by the film. Well, in some cases, why not the court and the judge. The film is flowing in a 'linear way'.

The film was controversial from the start. PC Solanki has filed a case against the film claiming that his intellectual property has been violated. Sant Shree Asharam Ashram filed a defamation case after the trailer of the film was released.

Solanki expressed his displeasure that the work was not done as per the contract and the script was not shown to him. He argues that if the film is inspired by him, the agreement should be made accordingly.

Manoj Bajpayee in the role of PC Solanki has done an excellent job. 'Court Room Drama' has been directed by director Apoorva Singh Karki. At the end of the film, Manoj Bajaypayee has a powerful expression about the Ramayana reference.

No matter how much austerities Rawan, who worshiped Shiva after death, Shiva ignores his beloved devotee. Shiva's argument is that while abducting Sita, Ravana disguised himself as a yogi and defamed all yogis, he is not affected by tapas.

The film ends with the message that success in religion or in any field does not mean a license to rape.

The film helps to understand the legal process and how loopholes are created. If you want to understand how the age of the victim girl was introduced in the case of cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane, you have to watch the film.
