Jun 23, Kathmandu- People of any age can experience joint pain and swelling. This disease affects the muscles as well. The immune system that is present in your body works against itself. Rheumatism is a disease in which the immune system automatically attacks itself after having such antibodies in its body. This disease is caused by an autoimmune disease.

This disease is also transmitted through genetics. This disease occurs when the immune system in our body continues to damage itself. Although rheumatic diseases are the same, they are of different types. The most common rheumatism is 'Rheumatar Arthritis' and 'Spondula Arthritis'. Rheumatism that is more common in children is back-related arthritis 'seritis arthritis'. Rheumatoid arthritis, which is more common in women, is 'systemic glupus erythematosus' and meat arthritis. This rheumatism is also common in alcoholics.

Rheumatoid symptoms:

1. Painful and swollen joints
2. Difficulty getting up in the morning
3. It is difficult to move the hands and make fists
4. Muscle pain, tingling and burning
5. The face becomes red when exposed to the sun
6. Frequent sores inside the mouth
7. Fingers change color in cold
8. Affects intoxication and blood appears in stool

Treatment

It does not mean that this is the cure for rheumatism. Medicines are given to balance the immune system for rheumatic diseases. Medicines for rheumatism are generally of two/three types. One is an oral medicine and the other is an injectable medicine. In general, the medicine for rheumatism varies according to the nature of the disease.
