Sri Lanka Wins Against Pakistan Under Pressure, And Will Face India In The Final On Sunday

Sri Lanka has reached the final by defeating Pakistan in the Super Four match of the tournament that ended on Friday morning. The match, which was affected by rain, was completed in 42 overs.

Sri Lanka was chasing a target of 252 runs in the match at the R. Premadasa Cricket Stadium in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka achieved the target given by Kistan in 42 overs and won by 2 wickets. Sri Lanka won very hard.

Sri Lanka needed 6 runs from the last 2 balls to beat Pakistan. Charith Aslanka was on strike. Charith hit a four in the fifth ball and two runs in the last ball to take Sri Lanka to the final.

Kusal Mendis scored 91 and Sadira Samarawickrama scored 48 for Sri Lanka. Charith Aslanka remained unbeaten on 49 runs.

For Pakistan, Iftikhar Ahmed took 3 wickets, Shaheen Shah Afridi took 2 wickets and Shadab Khan took 1 wicket. Before that, Pakistan, who batted first, scored 252 runs after losing 7 wickets in the stipulated over.

Mohammad Rizwan scored an unbeaten 86 for Pakistan while Abdullah Shafiqal scored 52 runs. Iftikhar Ahmed scored 43 runs and captain Babar Azam scored 29 runs. Mathisha Pathirana took 3 wickets and Pramod Madhushan took 2 wickets for Sri Lanka.

The Philan match of Asia Cup is going to be held on Sunday. Earlier, India has reached the final one game ahead of Group A. Previous winners Sri Lanka will play against India on Sunday for the title.
