Sep 16, Kathmandu- The police have arrested 6 people including a rare wild animal golden turtle from Tokha in Kathmandu. They were arrested by the police on Thursday afternoon from Sunkoshi Cafe located in Tokha Municipality-5.

Among the arrested, 32-year-old Jairam Ghimire of Kavre Panauti Municipality-10 Banthali, 42-year-old Narayan Thami, who lives in the same municipality-8, 28-year-old Rupak Basnet, who lives in the same Municipality-4, 26-year-old Rahar Tamang of Kavre Namobuddha Municipality-2, 46-year-old Sudarshan Tamang of Kavre Namobuddha Municipality-3 and 38-year-old Rajkumar Rai of Udaipur Triyuga Municipality-13.

On the basis of special information that there is an illegal trading of golden-colored turtles in Tokha municipality-5, the police stationed from Maharajganj police circle found them and arrested them along with the said turtles. They have been sent to the District Forest Office Hattisar Kathmandu for necessary action.
