Gairigaon mass murder case: The arrested accused confessed to the murder

Sep 17, Kathmandu- One person has been arrested in the mass murder case that took place on Saturday in Tinkune Gairigaon, Tinkune, Kathmandu.

The arrested person himself has given a statement to the police that he killed the four people. According to police sources, the arrested person is a person with a speech disability (cannot speak). Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office sources informed that the person was arrested while checking the CCTV footage around the incident site.

Sources say that the person was arrested on the basis of the footage seen on CCTV. The police have not released his details. On Saturday night, two women and two men were killed with sharp weapons at the Divya Samamil in Garigaon. 56-year-old Kumar Bhujel, the security guard of the mill, 52-year-old his wife Ambika Bhujel, 76-year-old mother Shubhadra Bhujel and 20-year-old Navin Rai who has permanent residence in Morang Belwari were killed.

On the same night, police arrested 28-year-old Dipendra Rai on suspicion of murder. Rai, who reached the police circle covered in blood, was detained by the police. Rai has been saying that he came to give information about the murder.
