Sep 18, Kathmandu- A young man has died due to beating in Palpa during a clash during Teej dance. According to the police, the deceased is Sunil Khatri, 24 years old, from Ward No. 2, Ghodebas, Tinau Rural Municipality.

At around 10 o'clock on Sunday night, he was seriously injured in a fight between the local youths during Teej dance. Chief Superintendent of Police Heramb Sharma of District Police Office Palpa informed that the injured Khatri died during treatment at Lumbini Provincial Hospital on Monday night.

The police said that four people have been arrested for their involvement in the assault and further investigation is underway.
