Sep 18, Kathmandu- On Monday, the second trading day of the week, the NEPSE index rose by 4.26 points to 1,969.18 points.

On the previous day, the NEPSE index fell by 42 points. Today, on the first day of October, there was a general increase in the NEPSE index, but the turnover decreased.

According to the Nepal Stock Exchange, 28 lakh 74 thousand shares worth 874 crore 444 thousand rupees were bought and sold today on Monday.

Today Monday, except the banking group sub-indices, 12 sub-indices have become positive. All the sub-indices have increased by 1 percent less, while the banking group's sub-indices have decreased by 0.40 percent. The trading group's sub-index increased by 1.60 percent.

On Monday, the share price of Emerging Nepal Limited increased by 9.99 percent. The share price of Three Star Hydropower Limited increased by 9.98 percent while the share price of Shivam Power Limited decreased by 9.99 percent.
