One dead, one injured after boat capsized by whale

Sep 30, Kathmandu- According to local time near Sydney, Australia, one person died and another person was admitted to the hospital when a boat was overturned by a whale on Saturday morning.

New South Wales Water Police acting Superintendent Siobhan Munro said two people had drowned outside the headland of Botany Bay at around 6 a.m. local time.

"Two men were rescued from the boat," Munro said, "one of whom was confirmed deceased." Preliminary reports indicate that the boat may have capsized due to a whale. The boat has been recovered and will now undergo a forensic examination, Munro said.
