Actress Sushma Karki has lodged a complaint with the police alleging that she was beaten and treated indecently.

Actress Sushma had lodged a complaint at Metropolitan Police Circle, Durbar Marg on Tuesday alleging that she was beaten at a London Pub cafe in Kathmandu on Monday.

DSP Rameshwar Poudel of Durbar Marg confirmed the complaint. He informed us that both parties have been called for discussions.

According to SP Ramesh Basnet of Kathmandu Police Campus, Sushma has accused Aarti Khadka and Journalist Utsav Rasaili has beating and abusing her.

Aarti is the sister of actress Swetha Khadka. Sushma said that Swetha and her husband Bijayendra were also present when Aarti and Utsav beat her. She said that Shweta also used abusive language against her when she came out of the pub to lodge a complaint with the police.

‘There was an argument with Utsav about the interview. At the same time, two boys came and insulted me. Then Shweta Khadka's sister wipes her hair from behind. I have the footage, 'she said.

She said the video clips were given to the police as evidence of her abuse.
