Nov 06, Kathmandu- The movie 'Pardeshi 2' will provide 51,000 rupees for the relief of Jajarkot earthquake victims. Director and producer Narayan Rayamajhi said that the amount will be deposited in the Prime Minister's Relief Fund.
Stating that some special shows have been postponed due to the uncomfortable situation of the earthquake, Rayamajhi said that they are going to do a charity show for the children of the orphanage and the elderly.
The film, which is currently running in theaters, is doing well at the domestic box office. Starring Prakash Saput, Kiki Adhikari in the lead role, the film presents the story of the social impact of foreign employment.
Meanwhile, singer Hemant Sharma handed over Rs 50,000 for the pre-announced award to Rohit Paudel, the captain of the Nepali cricket team. On Tuesday morning, he gave the money to Paudel and Kushal Bhurtel.
He announced that he would give 50,000 to the Nepali cricket team if they beat UAE in the semi-finals of the ICC T20 World Cup Asia Qualifiers.
