IP Address Can Now Be Hidden While Making WhatsApp Calls

Nov 11, Kathmandu- To make the conversation even more secure, WhatsApp has introduced the 'Protect IP Addresses in Calls' feature. The company said that by activating this feature, when making a call, the real IP address of the user will be hidden and the root will be taken through Meta or WhatsApp servers.

However, it is said that the quality will decrease when calling using this feature. The call will be end-to-end encrypted in this feature brought for users who pay special attention to privacy.

This feature can be found in the 'Privacy' section of WhatsApp's settings. Similarly, WhatsApp has also introduced a feature called 'Silence Unknown Colors' to protect against spam and cyber attacks.
