Teenager Arrested For Misusing Social Media By Creating A Fake Facebook ID

Nov 17, Kathmandu- Binod Thapa of Kamal rural municipality-1 of Jhapa has been arrested by the police on the charge of misusing social media by creating a fake Facebook ID.

District Police Office Deputy Superintendent of Police Khagendra Prasad Rijal informed that Thapa was arrested three days ago and an investigation was started based on a complaint of illegal activities through a fake Facebook ID.

According to him, it is said that Thapa Kamal, who is facing a case related to cybercrime at the Jhilzhile area police office, is also the president of the children's network. The police has not given detailed information about his fake Facebook ID.

Meanwhile, 15 gamblers have been arrested from Gauradah in Jhapa while gambling, along with cash and cash.

At Yuvraj Khadka who lives in Gauratha-3, based on the information of special source who was playing gambling, the police team deployed from Damak and Gauradah area police office arrested 15 people including 1 lakh 35 thousand 920, 16 kauda, three book tass while gambling.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Rijal said that all those arrested were brought to the Damak area police office and further investigation was started.
