Formation of a study committee by the Ministry of Home Affairs to make good governance goals effective

Nov 20, Kathmandu- The Ministry of Home Affairs has formed a study committee to make the goals of the government effective including good governance, prosperity, and social justice.

Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha has formed a 10-member study committee under the coordination of former Chief Secretary Leela Mani Paudyal to bring effectiveness to the government's goals and the performance of agencies under the Ministry of Home Affairs.

The first meeting of the study committee was also held at the Ministry of Home Affairs on Monday. Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Shrestha said that the committee will study and submit a report to improve the field of Nepal Police, Armed Police, Prison Management, Immigration Management, Disaster Reduction and Management, and National Identity Card.

Shrestha said that the goal of prosperity will be advanced in a qualitative manner and the government will carry out necessary studies and implement the study report firmly to bring about change so that the people feel it.
