Dec 02, Kathmandu- In the Nepal Super League (NSL), Jhapa FC and Pokhara Thunders played a draw with one goal each. Jhapa avoided the loss against Pokhara by returning a goal at the last minute.
In the match, Pokhara took the lead in the 19th minute with Moses Gyabaah's goal. But after 90 minutes of the game, Samandar Ochilov of Jhapa scored a goal in the last 8 minutes of added time and tied the game. After today's draw, Jhapa has added one point in the NSL. Pokhara has gained 5 points from 3 games and climbed to second place in the table.
In the first match, Pokhara defeated Chitwan by 1-0 goals and in the second match, it was a goalless draw against Lalitpur City FC. Jhapa was defeated by Sporting Eelam 1-0 in the first match.
Today, after Kamal Bahadur Thapa got a red card in the 90th minute of the game, Pokhara was limited to 10 players. Pokhara's coach Navin Neupane also received a red card at the end of the game. Suraj Jeu Thakuri from Pokhara was declared the man of the match. He got a prize of 30 thousand rupees.
