Dec 05, Kathmandu- A full hearing is being held today on the petition filed against the ban on the social network TikTok. Four cases related to this are going to be heard in full today.

Earlier, on Mangsir  5, a single bench of Justice Binod Sharma refused to issue an interim order and ordered the government to submit a written response with the reason for shutting down TikTok by Mangsir 15.

On Kartik  27, the government decided to shut down TikTok in Nepal. The government has been saying that it is necessary to ban TikTok because social harmony has started to break down.
