UML Demands Resignation Of Some Ministers

Feb 25, Kathmandu- CPN-UML has demanded the dismissal of some ministers. In Sunday's House of Representatives meeting, UML chief whip Padam Giri demanded the dismissal of four ministers.

He has demanded the immediate dismissal of the Minister of Physical Education (Prakash Jwala) who is guilty of the Balumari incident and the Home Minister (Narayankaji Shrestha) who ordered the massacre of two people in the Balkumari incident.

Similarly, Giri demanded that the Minister of Health (Mohan Basnet), who is under the supervision of the authority, should also be dismissed saying that he cannot be reinstated.

Giri said that Minister of Tourism and Vice Chairman of Lumbini Development Fund Lharkyal Lama should be sacked immediately for doing such a disgraceful act of leasing the archaeological site Ramgram to a private company for 99 years.
