Namrata Returned To Work With The Short Film 'Marionettes'

Mar 05, Kathmandu- This year has been ups and downs for actress Namrata Shrestha. His last movie 'Xira' was released four years ago. At the moment, she is back at work.

Namrata acted as a voice actor in the short animated film 'Marionettes', which was made on a social story. She expressed her excitement while sharing this movie which was released on Monday.

She writes, "I am excited to share a link to an animated short film: Marionettes, featuring my voice. This heartwarming story speaks volumes about the impact that early marriage can have on women's mental health and intergenerational relationships. This film presents the problems faced by daughters when they face such challenges.

The short animated film directed by Prajdnik Awasthi features the voices of Namrata and Anushka Pandey. Jason Kunwar has composed the music. This short film was produced in collaboration with the company called Australia Screen Canberra. This film has been selected in some international film festivals as well.

In the film, Namrata has voiced the character of the mother, while Anushka has voiced the role of the daughter. Last time she congratulated 'Shambala' director Meen Bahadur Bham for being selected in the international competition category of the Berlin Film Festival.
