Mar 15, Kathmandu- Now Indian workers can send cash up to 15 thousand Indian rupees daily from Nepal. Nepal Rastra Bank on Friday amended the Integrated Circular-2080 issued to entities licensed to conduct foreign exchange transactions, providing that Indian nationals working in Nepal can send money directly from bank accounts opened in Nepali Commercial Bank and National Development Banks to financial institutions where they have their accounts in India.
However, such money transfer should be sent through the associated electronic banking (e-banking), interbank payment, mobile banking quick response code through the National Payment Switch (National Payment Switch). According to the National Bank, up to 15,000 baht per day and 100,000 baht per month can be sent to personal accounts opened in Indian banks and financial institutions.
In addition to the Indo-Nepal Remittance Facility (INRF) arranged by the Nepal Rastra Bank and the Reserve Bank of India, Nepali workers from India have arranged that Nepali citizens can easily send money directly through electronic banking, mobile banking and other facilities. However, in the case of Nepalese, the limit of the amount is not specified.
