Mar 29, Kathmandu- After getting Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ticket from Mandi in Himachal Pradesh, India, actress Kangana Ranaut has started her election campaign.

Launching the election campaign on Friday, Ranaut asked for her support to the citizens.

"Today we have started the trumpet of our campaign. You can see that a huge crowd has gathered and a lot of people have supported it,” Ranaut said.

She said, "That's why we are very optimistic. I am a daughter of this place. All of India always makes me proud. I have always received a lot of love from people".

Targeting Congress leader Supriya Shrinet, Kangana Ranaut said, "I want the people of Mandi to respond to those who made such indecent comments about Mandi's sister and daughter. They will get a proper answer from here".

She said that her status in politics will depend on the margin of victory. On getting the Lok Sabha ticket from Mandi, Kangana said, "I am lucky, my happiness knows no bounds. Who would not be happy to come back to their home, their people, their country?"

She said that Congress has not been able to give good delivery to the people and that she has entered into politics.
