Apr 01, Kathmandu- The absconding driver of the Scorpio accident seven years ago, which killed six people, has been arrested. 27-year-old Saroj Ghale of Lalitpur Mahankal Rural Municipality-3 was arrested by the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office.

On the 11th of Chaitra 2073, while going to visit the Swargadwari temple in Pyuthan, a Scorpio jeep of Ba 8 Ch 1561 met an accident at Rumale, Ward-3 of Swargadwari Municipality. 6 people died in the accident, including Dinesh Dhwaja Basnet.

Ghale was absconding in the vehicular manslaughter charge. While searching for him, the team deployed from the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office succeeded in arresting him from Lalitpur Metropolitan City-17 Gwarko on Sunday. Ghale has been sent to the District Police Office, Pyuthan for necessary investigation and action.
