Construction Of 'Trauma Center' Progress At Bardaghat

Apr 05, Kathmandu- The process of building a trauma center in Chisapani at Bardaghat in West Nawalparasi is progressing. Chitwan has called for an intensive urban and building construction plan ahead of urban development. The country will open a multi-year intensive urban and building construction plan costing 15 crore rupees.

Shambhulal Shrestha, head of Bardaghat Municipality, informed that there is a plan to operate an integrated hospital with trauma facilities at Chisapani Hospital. After receiving the approval of the multi-year contract and resource assurance of Rs 15 crore from the Ministry of Finance, the design made by the Intensive Urban and Building Construction Plan was approved by the Department of Urban Development and Building Construction.

The hospital, which will be completed by the year 2082/83, said that the construction work will be carried forward by the intensive urban and building construction project. After the operation of the trauma hospital, all types of patients, including road accidents and local accidents on the Butwal-Narayangadh section of the East-West Highway, could easily be treated.
