Children Of Limi In Humla Received Routine Vaccinations After 11 Months

Apr 11, Kathmandu- After 11 months, the children of Northern Namkha Rural Municipality-6 of Humla have received regular vaccination. The implementation of the vaccination program was delayed after the road to Limi was blocked due to heavy snowfall.

Gorakh Bahadur Bhandari, the head of Limi Health Post, said that due to the closure of the road, the regular vaccination program was affected by the lack of timely delivery of vaccines.

He informed that measles-rubella vaccination was administered to children above nine months and below five years, which was conducted across the country from Falgun 25th to Chaitra 7th.
