'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' Becomes The Lowest Opening Film On Eid

Apr 12, Kathmandu- On the occasion of Eid, the Bollywood film 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' was screened. The film stars famous actors like Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff.

Before the release, Indian filmmakers were hoping that the film would earn well. But the film received mixed response and did not do well at the box office.

According to the Indian media Dainik Jagran, this film is seen as weak compared to other films that were screened during Eid.

According to Bollywood film market analyst Taran Adarsh, the film has opened to Rs 167 crore. Which is the least among the films screened on Eid.

The film 'Sultan', which was released on Eid 2016, earned 365.4 million bharos. Similarly, the film 'Bharat', which was released on Eid, earned 423 million baht and 'Chennai Express' earned 331.2 million baht.

Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Sonakshi Sinha, Manushi Chhillar along with Akshay and Tiger. Vasu Bhagnani and Jackie Bhagnani have invested in the film.

Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda were seen in the lead roles in the 1995 film Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan.
