Apr 14, Kathmandu- A media festival has been organized in Dang from tomorrow. It is said that there will be debates and discussions on journalism, media and various communication services at this festival organized by the Journalists' Association Dang in Ghorahi.

It is said that media related persons and institutions will participate in this program. According to the organizers, experts and senior journalists, media researchers and public representatives will participate in the conference.

Durgalal KC, the President of Federation of Nepali Journalists Dang informed that the preparations for this festival, which will be held for two days, have been completed. The event is scheduled to be inaugurated by Minister of Communication and Information Technology Rekha Sharma.

In this festival, there will be debates and discussions on issues such as federalism, development and media, power and future of media, the question of media inclusion in media, media of yesterday and today.

After the corona epidemic, the economic problems and the impact on the media and the future of print and digital media in Nepal will be discussed and conclusions will be drawn by the related experts, the organizer said.

Similarly, on the occasion of this festival, the organizers have also informed that all the services provided by Nepal Government, Department of Information and Broadcasting as well as Nepal Telecom will provide its services including SIM cards.

The Nepal Journalist Association, Dang, has also requested all concerned agencies to take this media festival as an opportunity to be held for the first time in Dang district and to benefit from it in their fields and issues.
