Samsung Tops In The World Market Surpassing iPhone Ssles

The data released by the firm IDC on Sunday showed that the Android phone brand will occupy the top position in the world's smartphone market. During the period from January to March, the shipment of smartphones worldwide increased by 7.8 percent to 289.4 million units. In which Samsung has taken the position of Apple's top phone manufacturer and has reached 20.8 percent of its market share.

In the quarter up to December, the iPhone maker had overtaken Samsung to become the world's number one phone maker. But now, Apple has been relegated to second place with 17.3 percent market share, while Chinese brands like Huawei have increased their market share. One of China's top smartphone makers, Xiaomi, has taken third place in the first quarter of this English year with a market share of 14.1 percent. The South Korean company Samsung launched its latest flagship smartphone lineup, the Galaxy S24 series, at the beginning of this year.

Which has sent six million phones to the market during this period. According to data provider Counterpoint, compared to the first three months of last year's Galaxy S24 series availability, sales of Galaxy S24 smartphones in the world market this year have increased by eight percent. During the first quarter, Apple shipped 50 million iPhones to the market, which is less than the 55.4 million iPhones shipped in the same period last year, IDC said.
