Apr 18, Kathmandu- The CPN-UML Koshi Parliamentary Party has decided to vote in favor of the resolution proposal in the State Assembly.

Rewati Raman Bhandari, chief whip of UML, informed that the meeting of the parliamentary party held today decided that all MPs should be present and vote in favour. The CPN-UML and the Maoist Center are going to register a resolution in today's Koshi Provincial Assembly. The discussion on the proposal registered today will start tomorrow, Friday.

The UML and Maoist Center withdrew their support to Kedar Karki, who became the Chief Minister on 27 Ashwin as per clause 5 of Article 168 of the Constitution, on 26 Chaitra. Withdrawing support, they demanded a session of the provincial assembly. After withdrawing support, Chief Minister Karki, who is in the minority, is adamant that he will not resign and will not take a vote of confidence. If he does not resign, the two parties are going to register a resolution to instruct him to take a vote of confidence.
