Nepal Lost 5 Wickets

Apr 20, Kathmandu- Nepal has had a bad start against Hong Kong for the third place in the ACC Premier Cup.

Rohit Kumar Paudel, captain of the Nepali team, won the toss and decided to bat first at the Al Amerat Cricket Ground (Ministry Turf 1) Oman.

In which Nepal's opener Kushal Bhurtel was dismissed for zero, Asif Sheikh for 5, Sompal Kami for 12, captain Rohit Kumar Paudel for 21 and Kushal Malla for 13 runs.

Nepal scored 76 runs after losing 5 wickets at the end of 12 overs.

Earlier, in the second semi-final match concluded on Friday, Oman defeated Hong Kong by 5 wickets and the two teams playing for the third place were decided.

After defeating Nepal by 6 wickets in the first semi-final on Friday, UAE has reached the final. The Premier Cup winners, runners-up and third-placed teams will play in the ACC Emerging Cup.

By reaching the final, UAE and Oman have already secured their place in the Emerging Cup. The team that wins the Premier Cup will qualify for the Asia Cup.
