May 07, Kathmandu- Koshi N.K. Motors Pvt Ltd aims to produce Nepali brand electric vehicles from Biratnagar within one year.

Koshi N.K. Motors, which signed an agreement with China's Xiamen Golden Dragaon Auto Body Company to produce electric vehicles, is preparing to make large buses within a year.

Giving information that the Chinese company will provide technical support, the president of the company said that the entire investment will be made by Koshi Motors. "The investment will be made by N.K. Motors, the Chinese company will provide technical support to us," he said, "There has been an agreement that we will purchase the company's parts and necessary raw materials and that skilled technical personnel will support us for two years".

He said that the vehicles produced in Nepal will be of Nepali brand.

An agreement was signed between Koshi NK Motors and China's Xiamen Golden Dragon Auto Body on 17 Baisakh with the aim of producing all types of vehicles in Nepal.

Chairman Puri said that a company structure will be prepared in an area of ​​15 bighas for vehicle production in Morang Budhiganga. He said that the company, which will cost 3 billion rupees, will produce electric vehicles according to Nepali environment and needs.
