Two Killed When Tractor Fell Into Bheri River

May 10, Kathmandu- Two people died when a tractor fell into Bheri river near Aathbiskot Municipality-14 Chhepare in Rukum West. Three people have been injured in the accident.

An unmarked tractor, which was going from Aathbiskot to Jajarkot Rimna, fell into the Bheri river on Friday afternoon.

Bishnu Prasad Shrestha, Information Officer and Police Inspector of District Police Office Rukum Paschim informed that 22-year-old Bikas Khadka of Athabiscot-14 and 18-year-old Hari Sharma of the same place died in the accident.

Three people injured in the accident are being treated at Mission Hospital Chaurjahari. The identity of the injured has not been revealed.

The tractor fell 150 meters below the road in the river Bheri. According to the District Police Office, the accident is under investigation.
