May 14, Kathmandu- The main opposition party Nepali Congress is going to present the policies and programs of the government for the next financial year.
In the joint meeting of the Federal Parliament today, the policy and program will be presented.
A parliamentarian informed that a strategy to present policies and programs has been decided in the ongoing meeting at the office of the parliamentary party at Singha Durbar.
He said that a strategy has been decided to prevent other parliamentary processes from proceeding.
The Congress is blocking Parliament by demanding a parliamentary inquiry committee, alleging that Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane was involved in the cooperative case.
Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' called the Congress leaders to Baluwatar this morning and requested them not to disrupt the parliament while presenting the policy and programme.
President Ram Chandra Paudel will present the government's policy and program at the Parliament meeting at 3 pm.
