The ninth edition of the ICC T20 Cricket World Cup is being jointly organized in America and West Indies from June 1 to 29. 20 teams are participating in the World Cup.

The estimated time of International Cricket Council (ICC) is till May 1 to announce the team for the ninth World Cup. Accordingly, the CAN has also announced the 15-member team. The declared Nepali team consists of Rohit Kumar Paudel (captain), Aasif Sheikh, Anil Kumar Shah, Kushal Bhurtel, Kushal Malla, Dipendra Singh Airee, Lalit Rajvanshi, Karan KC, Gulsan Jha, Sompal Kami, Pratis GC, Sandeep Zora, Avinash Bohra, Sagar Dhakal and Kamal Singh Airee.
