Jaishankar To Be The Foreign Minister In The Modi Cabinet

Jun 09, Kathmandu- In the third NDA government led by Narendra Modi, the current foreign minister S. Jaishankar is going to be the foreign affairs minister again.

On Sunday evening, Prime Minister Modi invited the prospective ministers to have tea at his residence.

Saying that Jaishankar also participated there, the Indian media Indian Express has written news claiming that he will be the foreign minister again.

Along with him, Nirmala Sitharaman and Sarbananda Sonowal and other Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders reached the Prime Minister's Residence Lok Kalyan Marga in Delhi to participate.

The Indian Express, quoting a source, said, "Yash Jaishankar has been confirmed to be a minister in the Modi-3 cabinet".

Jaishankar has become a prominent figure in the diplomatic field of India in the last five years. As a member of the Rajya Sabha, he is about to become a minister.
