Captain Kiran Hits 'Century' In International Football

Jun 11, Kathmandu- Nepal is kicking off its World Cup 2026 qualifying journey by competing with Yemen on Tuesday in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.

Nepal is going to face Yemen in its last match of the second round of the Asian qualifiers. This game will start at 12:30 PM according to Nepali time. It has been confirmed that both Yemen and Nepal will not reach the third stage. Both teams are trying to finish the journey with a happy result.

Nepal has not been able to score a single point while playing 5 matches and has not scored a single goal. Yemen has scored 4 points in 5 matches with 3 defeats, 1 win and 1 draw.

Playing against Yemen, Nepali team captain and goalkeeper Kiran Kumar Chemjong is completing the milestone of 100 games in senior international football. Before this, no Nepali football player has achieved such success. Kiran has been in Nepal's senior national team since 2008.
