Dissolution Of War Cabinet By Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu

Jun 17, Kathmandu- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has dissolved the six-member War Cabinet. A week ago, Benny Gantz and Gadi Eisenkot resigned from the War Cabinet. Both of them were important members of the War Cabinet. Within a week of Gantz and Eisenkot's resignation, Netanyahu dissolved the War Cabinet.

According to Israeli media reports, sensitive issues related to the ongoing war with Hamas in Gaza will now be discussed on a smaller platform. The demands placed by the far-right allies in the Cabinet were constantly increasing Netanyahu's problems. Due to these demands, Israel's relations with other international allies including the US were also seen to be tense.

The Israeli army has said that this decision will not affect its work. Benny Gantz and Gadi Eisenkot resigned from the War Cabinet, accusing Netanyahu of having no plans when the tension in Gaza was over. After the Hamas attack on October 7, Netanyahu formed a war cabinet. Two former army chiefs were also members of this council of ministers.
