Jun 28, Kathmandu- Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has said that the government is trying to prepare the foundation of socialism by institutionalizing the achievements of revolution and change.

Releasing the book 'Biography and Memoirs' of adventure warrior Jagat Bahadur Bohra, Prime Minister Prachanda said that the government is moving ahead with the priority of good governance, social justice and prosperity. Remembering that Bohra worked with the liberation and change of the country and the people in any challenging situation, the Prime Minister mentioned that he had an important contribution even during the Great People's War in favor of the revolutionary transformation of Nepali society. On the day of the Maghe Sankranti of the year 2040, the common people were brutally suppressed and killed in Piskar of Sindhupalchok district as a suppression of the heroic revenge of the people against the one-party autocratic Panchayat system.

Warriors including Ile Thami and Bir Bahadur Thami sacrificed their lives in Piskar when they were attacked by the panchayat rulers while the local community was holding a peaceful cultural program on the occasion of Maghi. In that incident, dozens of warriors including Chhatra Bahadur Bohra, Man Bahadur Thami, Meghnath Paudel, Arun Nepal, Saresh Nepal, Gopal Thapalia faced imprisonment and torture. Jagat Bahadur Bohra was seriously injured in that incident.
