The government is trying to prepare the basis of socialism: Prime Minister

Jun 28, Kathmandu- Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has said that the government is trying to prepare the foundation of socialism by institutionalizing the achievements of revolution and change.

Releasing the book 'Courageous Warrior Jagat Bahadur Bohra's Biography and Memoirs' today, Prime Minister Prachanda said that the government is moving ahead with the priority of good governance, social justice and prosperity.

"Thousands of great martyrs, thousands of missing warriors and millions of revolutionary warriors, today we have reached a socialist-oriented federal democratic republic on the foundation of sacrifice, penance and sacrifice," Prime Minister Prachanda said, "we must institutionalize these achievements and chart a journey to socialism."

Remembering that K. Bohra worked with the liberation and change of the country and the people in any challenging situation, the Prime Minister mentioned that he also contributed significantly during the Great People's War in favor of the revolutionary transformation of Nepali society.

On the day of the Maghe Sankranti of the year 2040, the common people were brutally suppressed and killed in Piskar of Sindhupalchok district as a suppression of the heroic revenge of the people against the one-party autocratic Panchayat system.

When the local community was conducting a peaceful cultural program on the occasion of Maghi, the warriors including Ile Thami and Bir Bahadur Thami made a high sacrifice in Piskar when they were attacked by the panchayat rulers.

In that incident, dozens of warriors including Chhatra Bahadur Bohra, Man Bahadur Thami, Meghnath Paudel, Arun Nepal, Saresh Nepal, Gopal Thapalia faced imprisonment and torture. Jagat Bahadur Bohra was severely injured in the incident.
