Jun 30, Kathmandu- Chairman of Nepali Congress Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that Madhav Kumar Nepal, Chairman of CPN Unified Socialists, played an important role in protecting the country's political system.

Addressing the opening ceremony of the 10th Congress of United Socialists at Pragya Bhawan on Sunday, he said that the role of the former Prime Minister of Nepal is important for the protection of Nepali politics.

"This party has played an important role in protecting the current politics," said Chairman Deuba, "Mr. Madhav has played an important role in protecting Nepal's politics."

He also wished success to the Congress of the Integrated Socialists. "I would like to express my best wishes for the success of the Congress," said Chairman Deuba.
