Jul 01, Kathmandu- Suresh Adhikari has been recommended as the Secretary of the House of Representatives. Speaker Devraj Ghimire has recommended the former secretary officer to the President for appointment to the post of secretary of the House of Representatives.

The officer had only recently retired as Secretary of the Ministry of Education. Due to the age limit, the officer will work as the secretary of the House of Representatives for two years.

Born in Sankhuwasabha, the officer has a master's degree in political science and public administration. Before retiring as Education Secretary, the officer worked as secretary in Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of General Administration, Election Commission and Authority.
