Jul 02, Kathmandu- Uruguay and Panama have reached the quarterfinals of the Copa America football tournament. Uruguay and Panama reached the quarterfinals of the tournament after winning their respective matches in the last match of the group stage on Tuesday morning.

In the last game of their group stage, Uruguay defeated the USA by a 1-0 goal difference. Mathias Olivera's goal in the 66th minute of the game was the deciding goal of the game in the victory of Uruguay.

After this victory, Uruguay won all three matches of the group stage and made it to the quarter-finals by staying at the top position in Group C.

Likewise, in the other match of Group C, Panama defeated Bolivia by 3-1. After this victory, Panama got 6 points with 2 wins in 3 games and reached the quarter-finals by being second in Group C.

Along with this, the USA and Bolivia have been eliminated from Group C. Now, in the quarter-finals, Uruguay will play against the runner-up of Group D and Panama will play against the winner of Group D.
