Jul 02, Kathmandu- Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane has commented that the power equation has changed overnight after the corruption files were opened. Today (Tuesday) in a brief conversation with the media persons at Singha Durbar, he said that the power equation could not last even for a night after the major corruption files were opened.

He said that the people understood very well that the power equation had been changed to protect whom. Pointing to the arrest of Bechan Jha in the Bhutanese refugee case, he said, "The file of corruption was opened in such a way that it could not last even one night."

After Bechan was arrested, there was politics had to face an earthquake due to his nexus. It was understood by many that Bechan's statement would cause unrest in the higher ranks.
