Jul 02, Kathmandu- France has entered the quarter-finals after defeating Belgium in the Euro Cup 2024 held in Germany. France entered the last eight by registering a 1-0 victory with the help of an own goal in the pre-quarterfinals in Dusseldorf.

The only goal of the game came in the form of an own goal in the 85th minute. Randall Kolo Muani's shot hit Belgian defender Jan Vertonghen and turned into a goal. With the help of the same goal, France entered the quarterfinals.

France will now play the winner between Portugal and Slovenia in the quarter-finals. The match between these two teams will be played tonight at 12:45 PM. Apart from France, the teams that have reached the quarter-finals so far are Germany, Spain, Switzerland and England.
