NIIP Ministers Returned Without Resigning After the Prime Minister's Request

Jul 04, Kathmandu- The ministers of the National Independent Party (NIP) have returned without resigning.

Chief whip Santosh Pariyar along with the ministers of NIP reached Baluwatar on Thursday morning. They returned here after discussing with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda'. Prime Minister Dahal has said that he is preparing to take the vote of confidence.

The NIP ministers have asked Prime Minister Dahal to get a quick vote of confidence from the Parliament and said that they will support him until then. "We came to Baluwatar today to demand the resignation of the ministers who participated in the government on behalf of the NIP", he said.

"The Prime Minister said that he had to have a little discussion, an overall analysis of the latest situation was done," Pariyar said, "The Prime Minister has said that he will use constitutional rights and face the Parliament. The Prime Minister said that you should support me while I am facing the Parliament".
