Jul 04, Kathmandu- Laxmi Intercontinental, the official distributor of Hyundai cars for Nepal, has announced a 0% interest rate scheme on the purchase of its electric vehicle KONA. Hyundai announced the “Zero Emissions, Zero Interest” scheme among customers at KONA.

To further strengthen their commitment to promote sustainability and an eco-friendly future, under this scheme, interested customers can purchase a Hyundai KONA with a 50% downpayment for five years at 0% interest rate.

With its excellent design, performance and reliability, Hyundai has managed to create a distinct identity in the competitive electric vehicle market. The Hyundai KONA is available in 2 variants. Kona GL is priced at Rs 59,96,000 and the GLS variant is priced at Rs 64,96,000.

The Hyundai Kona has a 39.2 kWh lithium-ion polymer battery with a multi-stage high voltage safety system, due to which it has high energy density and will also increase the range. The Kona Electric can be driven up to 305 kilometers on a single charge.

Hyundai KONA comes with a new design grille, daytime running lights and large taillights. It will charge 80 percent of the battery in 54 minutes with a 100kW DC fast charger.
