Prime Minister Dahal Becomes In Charge Of Eight More Ministries Left By UML

Jul 04, Kathmandu- President Ram Chandra Paudel has appointed Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal (Prachanda) to take over the duties of the ministries held by eight ministers including Deputy Prime Minister and Physical Infrastructure Minister Raghubir Mahaseth.

The President's Office informed today that the President has appointed the Prime Minister himself in charge of the ministry on the recommendation of Prime Minister Dahal.

Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Padam Giri of the current Cabinet, Jwala Kumari Shah, Agriculture and Livestock Development Minister, Balram Adhikari, Minister of Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation, Industry and Commerce and Supply Minister Damodar Bhandari, Women, Children and Senior Citizens Minister Bhagwati Chaudhary, Water Supply Minister Rajendra Kumar Rai and Defense Minister Hari Prasad Upreti resigned before Prime Minister Dahal on Wednesday afternoon according to Article 77, Clause (2) of the Constitution of Nepal.
