British Prime Minister Sunak's Resignation Accepted

With the embarrassing defeat of the party in the election, Sunak submitted his resignation to the King at Buckingham Palace. His resignation has been accepted by Charles. The Buckingham Palace has also confirmed this. After some time, the King will invite the leader of the Labor Party, Keir Starmer, to form the government. The Labor Party has returned to power after 14 years after the counting of votes in the UK election. In the counting of votes released on Friday, the Labor Party has won more seats than the majority. Keir Starmer, who led the Labor Party during the election, will be the next Prime Minister of Britain. Rishi Sunak's Conservative Party, who has been leading the Conservative Party since 2022, has won only 119 seats so far. Accepting defeat, Sunak has also apologized to the party.
