Medical Students From Gaza Allowed To Complete Their Education From Pakistan

Jul 05, Kathmandu- Pakistan has decided to allow medical students from the Gaza Strip to complete their medical education in the South Asian country on humanitarian grounds.

Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar made this decision on the instructions of Pakistani Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch in the weekly media on Thursday. He said that the batch of 20-30 Palestinian students will soon be admitted to medical colleges in Pakistan.

According to the spokesperson, this is an opportunity to complete the education of students in Cardiology, Orthopedics, Oncology, Paediatrics and Surgery by addressing the rights of Gaza students and the important needs of Gaza's health system.
