Russia's Defense Ministry Claims To Have Destroyed 38 Ukrainian Drones

Jul 09, Kathmandu- The ministry claimed that Russian forces destroyed 38 Ukrainian drones near the border last night.

On Tuesday, the governor of Astrakhan, Igor Babushkin, said, "Ukraine launched a major attack in the north using drones targeting this region." In the Russia-Ukraine war that began in February 2022, both sides are using drones extensively. It is said that 'self-exploding' drones capable of attacking at a distance of hundreds of kilometers from both sides are also included in the war.

Ukraine has intensified its attacks on Russia this year. The "Energy Site" used by the Russian army has targeted border towns and villages.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that he launched an attack on the northeastern Kharkiv region of Ukraine last May.
