Jul 12, Kathmandu- The Nepal Telecommunication Authority has established an ICT Excellence Center at the Institute of Engineering Studies (IOE).

On Thursday, Communication and Information Technology Minister Rekha Sharma inaugurated the ICT Excellence Center during a program organized at IOE.

As the use and expansion of digital technology increases, 'NTA Center of Excellence for ICT Research and Development' has been established in IOE to carry out extensive research on it.

It is said that this center will conduct studies and research on new technologies such as AI, blockchain, and cyber security that have come recently and work to reduce risks.

Incubation services will also be provided from the center and there will also be study and research on information and communication technology suitable for the Nepalese population.
