Jul 15, Kathmandu- The identities of the two dead bodies found in Triveni of Nawalparasi among the passengers of the bus swept away by a landslide in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-29 Simaltal under Muglin Road on Friday have been revealed. According to Chief Superintendent of Police Bhabesh Rimal of District Police Office Chitwan, the identity of the bodies found on Sunday evening has now been revealed.
Those identified are 23-year-old Sudeep BK of Bharatpur-22 Patihani and 17-year-old Firoz Rahupat of Rautahat. Seven of the dead bodies found have been identified, while the other four bodies are yet to be identified.
On Sunday, they were identified as 40-year-old Sajad Ansari of West Samparan-22, Bihar Betiya District, India, Jay Prakash Thakur, 22-year-old Bikash Pariyar of Madi Municipality-1, Ramit Kushar Majhi, 19, of Sarlahi Barhathwa Municipality-3 and Rishipal, 28, of Bihar Seetamani Burginia Jamuhawa, India.
Police Chief Rimal said that the process of finding the identity of the passengers on that bus is continuing. The search for the bus and passengers is continuing in and around the incident site. Nepal Army, Nepal Police and Armed Police teams are continuing the search.
