Jul 15, Kathmandu- Newly appointed Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has taken the oath of office and secrecy.
He took the oath of office and secrecy before President Ram Chandra Paudel at the Office of the President Sheetal Niwas.
CPN-UML Chairman Oli was appointed Prime Minister on Sunday. Prime Minister Oli took oath as the 45th Prime Minister of the country.
The Vice President, Chief Justice, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Speaker of the National Assembly, former Prime Ministers, MPs, representatives of diplomatic missions and others are present at the swearing-in ceremony.
According to Article 76 (2) of the Constitution of Nepal, President Paudel appointed UML President Oli as the Prime Minister on Sunday with the support of Nepali Congress and CPN (UML).
Oli became the Prime Minister after the agreement reached on Asadha 17 between the Congress and the UML, the two largest parties in the House of Representatives.
